Updated over a week ago

Unpublish a template

If you want to temporarily make a template unavailable for editing or updating, you can unpublish it.

Unpublish a template

  • Click on "Actions" in the top right corner.

  • Select "Unpublish Template".

  • The template is unpublished when the "Publish Template" button reappears.

Unpublished templates are marked as drafts and are no longer available for new projects.

Find an unpublished template

You can find unpublished templates in the "Drafts" section of your templates.

Edit or delete a template

Edit template name

  • Open the template.

  • Click on the template name at the top of the interface.

  • Edit the name and click outside the field to save automatically.

You can rename a template whether it is published or a draft.

Delete template

  • Click on "Actions" in the top right corner.

  • Select "Delete Template".

  • Confirm by retyping the word delete

Warning: Deletion is permanent and irreversible. However, projects already created from the template will not be affected.

Duplicate a template

If you need to create a copy of a template while keeping its settings, use the duplication feature.

Duplicate a template

  • Open the template you want to duplicate (published or draft).

  • Click on "Actions" in the top right corner.

  • Select "Duplicate Template".

  • Confirm or rename the new template.

  • Click "Duplicate this Template".

The duplicated template will be saved as a draft.

Duplicated elements

  • The document and its custom fields

  • Conditional display, clauses, and editable areas

  • Validation workflows

  • Summary sheet configuration

  • Advanced settings (archiving, reminders, participants...)

  • Template usage rights

Once duplicated, the new template can be modified as needed.

Download a template in .docx (Word) format

If you need to share, print, or get external feedback on your template, you can export it in .docx format.

Download my template

  • Open the template you want to download.

  • If your template has multiple translations, open the desired translation.

  • Click on "Download (.docx)".

  • Your file is now downloaded.

Word display

  • Clauses: Exported as standard text.

  • Custom Fields: Displayed as {field name}.

  • Conditional Paragraphs: Exported with a condition reminder and highlighted for clarity.

If the export option is not available, contact your Customer Success Manager to enable it.
