Tomorro allows you to publish public comments on the contract, visible to everyone, including your organization and the counterparty. It also allows you to add internal and private comments, accessible only to members of your company with access to the contract.
Add a private comment on the contract
From the contract, select a word, a sentence, a paragraph depending on what you want to comment on. A black toolbar appears above the selected text. Click here on the comment symbol (💬) :
Write your comment, then click on "Post".
By default, your comment will be private, meaning it will only be visible to participants within your organization. A padlock symbol 🔒 will appear next to the comment.
The text to which a comment has been added appears highlighted in purple in the text, and the comment is added in the "Annotations" box on the right.
To open the comment, click on it in the text or from the annotations. You can reply to it and even mention internal or external participants in the contract.
If you can't mention anyone but yourself, consider adding participants to the contract, following this article: Adding your collaborators to the contract.
Add a public comment to the contract
To add a public comment (visible to all participants once the version is shared), simply check the "External" box before publishing your comment.
The comment will be public/external when the box is colored yellow with the 🌍 symbol, as below:
Once the comment is written, click on "Post" to validate.
Same as for private comments, your public comment will be added to the "Annotations" box accessible from the right of the screen.
Resolve or archive a comment
To archive a comment, first open it by clicking on it.
Click on the Check icon to the right of the comment. The comment is then resolved and disappears from Open. It is placed in Resolved.
