The integration between Tomorro and Salesforce is designed to streamline your processes and eliminate back-and-forth between your tools. We’ve developed three connectors to meet the diverse needs of our clients and continue to innovate.
If the Salesforce integration is not (yet) included in your plan or you have not subscribed to it, you can reach out to your account manager.
If you have subscribed to the Salesforce integration, you can directly contact your Tomorro representative. They will assist you in setting up the integration and provide you with the links to install the Salesforce packages.
And there you go, the Salesforce application is now installed; all that's left is to configure it.
Configure your page layout
Configure your page layout
Once the installation is completed, define where you want the Tomorro component to be displayed. You can add it on Opportunity, Account or Case pages.
Here, we will show how to install it for the Opportunity page:
Go to Set up > Object Manager > Opportunity > Lighting Record Pages
Select the Page Layout you want to edit and click on "Edit".
On the Lighting App Builder, search for the Component "Tomorro - Create and track contract " and drag and drop it where you want it to be displayed in your page. Then click on "Save".
All users will see the application where you have added it.
Each user will now have to connect his Tomorro account to the Salesforce application before starting to create a contract.
Connect your Tomorro account
Connect your Tomorro account
Step 1 : Go to the page where the Tomorro app is installed
For this, they need to go to the Opportunity page (or Case, Account if you have installed the application on these pages). All users should now see the Tomorro component on this page.
Step 2: Getting your Tomorro API key
In order to connect your Tomorro account to Salesforce, you need to get your API key.
Connect to Tomorro > Go to My account > Integration > Click "Manage integration" on the API banner
Then click on "Generate an API key" if you haven't generated one at the moment. And copy it.
Step 3: Add it to Salesforce
On Salesforce, paste the API key, and click "Start using Tomorro".
All that remains is to configure the access rights. Let's see how to proceed.
If you are generating projects automatically from Salesforce, the last step will be to configure the triggers.
Configure the trigger
Configure the trigger
This step allows you to define at which status and steps the contract will be automatically generated.
From the App Launcher, search for Tomorro Configuration.
Then configure the triggers the way you want it to work:
Define at which opportunity status the creation of the project will be created
Define the status of the project that will be created
Select the template you want to use to generate the contract
Finally, don’t forget to check the box to activate the trigger.
