When creating project templates, it may be important to receive external advice and guidance, or simply to print them out for review by your direct manager.

To meet these needs, you can download your templates directly in Word format!

🤔 How do I export my contract template?

If you don’t see this option, it’s not enabled by default. Contact support to activate it!

Nothing could be simpler.

Open the contract template you're interested in, via your Tomorro templates page.

If your template has several different translations, open the translation you wish to download. This will give you access to the editor's advanced settings, as shown below:

Then select the "Download (.docx)" option.

🚀 And that's it! Your template in docx format is downloaded.

🙋‍♂️ How is conditional information displayed?

Your contract template will undoubtedly contain many dynamic elements specific to Tomorro, such as smart fields, clauses or conditional paragraphs. In order not to lose the logic of your document, and to allow you to read it with all its context, these elements will be exported as:

1. Clauses

Clauses are simply exported as standard text, without any particular format, as they would appear on your contract for example.

2. Smart fields

Smart fields are exported using the {field name} nomenclature.

3. Paragraphs with conditional display

Depending on whether they are set to "Display if" or "Hide if", these paragraphs are displayed in two different ways, as summarized below:

For text in the Tomorro editor in this form :

The export result reminds you of the condition, whether it is a "Display if" or "Hide if" condition, and then adds a colored background to make the information clear.
