Compare two versions of a document

Select the versions of your choice and compare them

Updated over 5 months ago

With this feature, Tomorro allows you to compare two versions of the same document during your negotiation.

How to compare two versions of my contract?

Your project is in the negotiation phase and you'd like to compare your current version with an earlier one. Here are the different steps:

1️⃣ Click on the button at the top right of your screen:

2️⃣ Then select the two versions you want to compare:

3️⃣ The changes between the two versions will appear in yellow text.

❌ If text has been deleted, it appears strikethrough.

✚ If text has been added, it appears underlined.

4️⃣ Then you have the choice: simply leave the page or "Save as new version".

🟢 If you save this version:

A new version of the document is then created.

The modified or added text will appear in suggestion mode in the editor, and you will then be able to accept or reject the suggestions (i.e. the modifications).

To do this, click on "Review" then "Edit":

Click on "Create version". A new version will be created, allowing you to accept or reject the changes:

Review the changes from the "Annotations" section (red bubble) and accept or reject using the buttons (black cross or green tick):

Once the suggestions have been processed, continue negotiating with your counterparty.

💡 Compare versions with Word document

For your negotiations based on Word documents, the process is the same. Take advantage of this feature to compare the Word versions exchanged.
