Signe a project generated in Tomorro

Learn how to sign a project created from a Tomorro template using Tomorro’s native signature feature.

Updated yesterday

You've finished negotiating your contract, and now you're ready to initiate the signature process with the counterparty.

If the Tomorro signature has been set up in the contract template by your administrators, the entire process, including the signing phase, takes place in Tomorro.

1️⃣ To begin, open the contract and click "Send."

2️⃣ You can now choose to send the document for review by clicking “Share with Counterparty” or send it for signing by clicking “Prepare Signature.

Signature fields will then appear in blue (for your organization) and in yellow (for your counterparty). You can add the signatories in the "Signatories" section on the right side of the screen.

Tip: Need to add new signature fields? Simply click on the document with your mouse; a “✚” symbol will appear, allowing you to add fields directly on your contract.

On the right side of your screen, you can adjust your signing tool:

  • You can select DocuSign as the signature tool and prepare the signature even if you are not logged in.

  • You can select Tomorro’s signature tool, in which case the entire process will take place within our platform!

It is now possible to customize the Tomorro signature.

When the document preparation meets your needs, you can click “Confirm Preparation” at the top right of your platform.

3️⃣ You’ll then be redirected to the “Send for Signature” page, where you can send a message to your counterparty in the “Note” section (signatories and project participants will receive this note).

Click “Send for Signature,” and you're all set!

What if there is an approval process before signing?

For Tomorro signature, if signing the document is conditional upon an approval process, it will appear as follows:

Click “Start Approval” to request approval from the approver. Once the contract is approved, you will be notified by email, and the contract will automatically be sent to the signatories.

For DocuSign signature, if signing the document is subject to approval, you will need to manually prepare the DocuSign envelope after approval is obtained.
