In addition to being able to sign documents generated in the Tomorro editor or external Word files imported into the editor, the platform also lets you sign PDF files with the native Tomorro signature ✏️
Import PDF file
At the top left of your interface, click on "New project" then select "Sign a document" :
Then select the document type from the options available for your company.
Why choose a project type? This will enable you to apply certain presets to your document, such as automatic storage in a certain folder, automatic creation of certain reminders, or creation of a summary sheet adapted to your document type.
Import your contract in PDF format.
Enter the name of your co-contractor;
Finally, click on "Sign this document".
How do I add Tomorro signature zones to a document?
Once the project has been generated, you'll find your document in PDF format in the center of the page, as shown below.
Click on "Add signature zones" in the center of the page
Add zones by clicking on "+" then "Add signatory".
Select the internal signatory and enter the external signatory's e-mail address.
Then click on "Switch to signature".
Add a note if necessary, then click on "Send for signature".
The signatories can now sign the document.
💡 You can add as many signature zones and signatories as you like.
🔨 If there is an approval procedure before signing
If the document signature here is conditional on a procedure and the document must be approved before the signature can be launched, this will appear as below:
👉 Click on "Launch approval" to obtain approval from the approver. Once the contract has been approved, you will be notified by e-mail and can then indicate your signatories and launch the signature for good by following the steps described above ⬆️.
🧐 What does it look like?
Once the document has been signed by both parties, the signatures will appear where the signature zones have been placed. A signature certificate accompanies the signature as shown below:
In the "Files" section of the project, you'll have access to both versions of the document: signed and unsigned.
